Hi. I Am Bhupi. And I Believe You Can Feel Like Yourself Again.
Not just a little bit better. Not slightly less exhausted. Genuinely, properly, wake up on a Tuesday and feel like yourself again. The woman you were before you spent years being everything to everyone else.
I am a Spiritual Art Healer. I work with women who have quietly disappeared inside their own lives, and I help them find their way back, through drawing and colouring their own sacred art, through healing, and through one quiet hour at a time.
I Did Not Plan Any of This.
For years I worked in consultancy. Smart, professional, had it all together on the outside. On the inside I was carrying the kind of weight that does not show up anywhere: the mental load, the family expectations, the quiet exhaustion of being everything to everyone while quietly losing myself in the process.
The universe, being the impatient teacher it is, eventually decided enough was enough. I found myself standing by the Grand River after an ice and snow storm at what was, without question, the lowest point of my life. The pain was so overwhelming that ending it seemed easier than surviving it.
And then something cut through. Not a bolt of lightning. Not a vision. Just a clear, steady thought: I am stronger than this. I can't do this to my mum or my kids.
So I ran. Not away. Back to myself. And for the first time in a very long time, I asked for help. Actually asked. Not performed asking. Not hinted. Actually asked. And the help that arrived changed everything.
Dr Wayne Dyer's book Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life arrived at exactly the right moment. I read it cover to cover more times than I can count. He did not just change my thoughts, he changed the frequency I was broadcasting from and everything else followed.
I Stopped Telling the Universe What I Wanted. I Started Listening.
I had done the vision boards. The wish books. The affirmations. All of it. And while there is nothing wrong with any of those things, I had been using them to tell the universe what I wanted rather than trusting that something greater might have an even better idea.
What if I am not meant to live where I think I am? What if the luxury retreat somewhere, combining the art of henna and sacred mandalas with healing, is already waiting and I just need to get out of my own way long enough to receive it? As long as Samosa and I are travelling the world together, I genuinely have no objections to being anywhere.
Endless possibilities does not mean forcing an outcome. It means becoming open enough to receive something better than you imagined.
That shift, from controlling to receiving, from wishing to aligning, from pushing to trusting, is at the heart of everything I do with the women I work with now.
The Four Sentences That Changed Everything.
During a Joe Dispenza workshop I came across Ho'oponopono, an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. Four simple sentences. And the kind of thing that sounds too simple to work until you actually do it and then you wonder why nobody told you sooner.
I love you.
I am sorry.
Please forgive me.
Thank you.
Ho'oponopono — Ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgivenessThese four sentences are not just words. They are a shift in their simplest form. You say them to yourself, to others, to situations, to the patterns you did not even know you were carrying. Something shifts, not because you believe it but because you say it and something in you responds to the intention behind the words.
I have built my whole practice around this principle: you do not need to understand it for it to work. You just need to be willing to let it.
An Indian Girl Backpacking Alone. In the 1990s.
When I left consultancy I did something that was not exactly on the approved list for an Indian girl at the time. I went backpacking in India. On my own. I learned the art of henna in a tiny village in Rajasthan and found a creativity I did not even know was sitting inside me waiting. I came back completely different and entirely myself for the first time.
That journey started everything. First came thirty years of henna, the meditative rhythm, the connection, the way time disappears when you are in complete flow. Then came fifteen years of teaching sacred mandalas, which turned out to be healing disguised as art, which is the most delightful thing I have ever discovered.
Then came coaching. Then spirituality deepened further. Then healing. Each step led directly to the next. None of it was planned. All of it was guided.
The consultancy job was never the destination. It was the launchpad. And it took leaving it to find out what I was actually here to do.
Thirty Years of Following the Thread.
30 years as a henna artist
What started as a cultural tradition became a creative practice, a meditation, a business and eventually a gateway to understanding the healing power of flow, focus and making art with your hands.
15 years teaching sacred art and mandalas
Teaching mandala drawing and colouring as healing long before anyone called it that. BBC featured. The I AM Mandala Colouring Book on Amazon. Search Bhupi Panesar and it comes straight up.
Dr Wayne Dyer and Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life

Joe Dispenza workshop and Ho'oponopono
Deepening the understanding of what it actually means to heal at the root. The science behind the magic finally had a name.
EBI training and certification
One of only three EBI trained practitioners in the UK. The course cost nearly $7,000 USD and a complete stranger, my angel, paid for it. Which is either the universe having a word or the best manifestation story ever told.
Right now: helping women feel like themselves again
Working with women in midlife from London, helping them find their way home through sacred art, drawing and colouring their way back to themselves. Samosa is already packed. Kajal is pretending not to care but has been seen sitting on the suitcase.
A Few Facts That Did Not Fit Anywhere Else.
The Dog
Samosa is a four year old female dog who has attended more healing sessions than most humans and is entirely unbothered by any of it. She is the unofficial mascot, quality control officer and main reason the newsletter gets opened.
The Cat
Kajal is six years old, female, deeply unimpressed by almost everything and an excellent judge of character. If Kajal likes you, you are doing something right. If she does not, you know what to do.
The Book
The I AM Mandala Colouring Book is on Amazon. One of the most meditative things you can do on a Sunday afternoon that does not involve lying on a sofa eating biscuits. Although nobody is stopping you doing both. Just search Bhupi Panesar.
The Dream
Luxury retreats combining the art of henna and sacred mandalas with Spiritual Art Healing. Somewhere with good light, good food and ideally an ocean view. The island has not been confirmed yet. The universe is working on it.
The Chai
Home made masala chai only. The spices have to be ground fresh and mixed properly. My dad used to make all my masalas for me and I always kept a little back, mixing it into each new batch so that his presence was always in there. That is healing in a mug right there.
The Science
Dr David Hawkins, HeartMath Institute, Dr Masaru Emoto, Joe Dispenza, Dr Wayne Dyer, epigenetics. The research is real. The results are measurable. The woo became science and I have been saying so for years.
Come and Make a Little Sacred Art With Me, and Feel Like Yourself Again.
One quiet hour. Your own pencil. Your own sacred art. And something in you that settles for the first time in a very long time.
"Come and make a little sacred art with me, and feel like yourself again."
