Let me ask you something. Have you ever walked into someone's house and felt weird straight away?
The place was tidy, it looked stunning, everything was fine on the outside, but something felt off. Heavy. Like the house was in a bad mood like a miserable grey day in London and nobody had told it to cheer up.
You are not going crazy, that feeling is real and there is a really good reason for it.
Every home has a frequency. Every room, every car, every space you have ever been in. And that frequency is either making you feel good or dragging you down, whether you know about it or not. Most people don't know and this family of four had absolutely no idea. Until they did. And then everything changed.

A really good friend came to me with a problem she couldn't explain. The house was stunning, in a great school area, nice size, all the right boxes ticked but living in it felt uncomfortable and certain rooms gave her the goosebumps. Not the nice kind, the kind where you walk in, your body goes nope, and you find a reason to leave very quickly.
The kids were unsettled, both the husband and wife kept snapping at each other in ways they usually never did. Arguments kept happening in that house that wouldn't have started if they had been sitting in a coffee shop. They'd repainted the walls, moved the furniture around and tried every practical thing you try when a space doesn't feel right. Nothing was working. It still felt like they were guests in someone else's house rather than a family who actually, lived there.
Sound familiar? Because most of us have been in a space that just doesn't feel right. We just never knew why, so let me explain it.
After getting permission from the owners, because without permission I can't do anything, I used muscle testing to check the frequency of their home.
When I tested this family home the frequency came back at 20. I want you to sit with that for a second. Twenty, that is shame which sits at the very bottom of the scale. That was the energy sitting in every single room of their house and it was left behind by whoever lived there before them, guests who came to visit, workers, builders, you get the gist. They moved into a home that was already full of someone else's heaviest emotional baggage and had been soaking it up every single day like sunbathing on the beaches of the Greek Islands.
No wonder the kids were all over the place. No wonder the arguments kept happening and no wonder it never felt like home no matter what they did to the walls. And no wonder the dog kept side-eyeing the hallway. Actually, I made that last bit up but I wouldn't be surprised.

Dr Hawkins was a researcher who spent decades mapping human emotions and the frequencies they vibrate at. He created what is called the Map of Consciousness, which is a scale from 0 to 1000 that shows where different emotional states sit.
At the very bottom you have the heaviest, darkest stuff. Shame sits at 20 which is the lowest measurable level. Below 200 you have all the emotions that weaken the body, things like guilt, grief, fear and anger. Above 200 things start to get better.
Courage, willingness, acceptance, love, joy and peace sit here. The higher the frequency, the better life feels and the stronger your body gets.
Now here is the bit most people have never thought about. Spaces have frequencies too, not just people. A home that has held years of arguments, grief, shame or fear will be sitting low on that scale and everyone living inside it will be soaking that up every single day without having a clue what's happening. You could repaint every wall in the house and it wouldn't touch it. Trust me, she really tried.

We cleared everything. Every energy block, every bit of stored emotional residue and every layer of whatever that house had been holding onto. It took over an hour and when I re-tested the frequency, it came back at 600, which is peace. The level that includes joy, love and every good feeling you can think of. From 20 to 600 in one session. And I know. I KNOW.
The shift in that family was almost immediate. The heaviness lifted, the arguments slowed down (there will always be arguments, no one is perfect), the kids settled and started behaving like actual kids, which brought them all enormous relief. It finally felt like home.
She said it was like someone had opened all the windows and let the air in after years of everything being closed. Her eldest who hadn’t slept properly since they moved in started sleeping through the night within a week.
Same house, same peeps, same furniture but a completely different feeling running through it.
That is the ripple effect. Clearing a space doesn't just change how the rooms feel, it changes how the people inside them feel, how they talk to each other, how they sleep and how much they actually enjoy being in their own space.
Your living quarters are never neutral, it’s doing something to you every single day and the question is whether it's good or not.

Think about where you live right now. Do you know its history? Do you know what happened there before you arrived, who lived there and what they went through? Most of us have no idea because it never occurs to us to ask.
I am not suggesting you lie awake worrying about your living room. But if your home has ever felt heavier than it should, if arguments happen there that wouldn't happen anywhere else, or if you have never quite been able to relax in a room that is supposed to be your safe place, it might be worth finding out what frequency you are actually living at.
Because you deserve to feel absolutely fabulous and safe in your own home and so does everyone you live with. Even the ones who leave their shoes in the hallway.
